Tweeting and State of Union Address

I have started tweeting to users of the hashtag for tonight's State of the Union address. The hashtag is #SOTU. My tweets are saying:

Will President Obama #DeclareForDemocracy? http://2016candidatesdeclarations.blogspot.com/2015/11/2016-congressional-candidate-declaration.html

Please join me.

The object of the proposed tweeting is to break out of like minded social media circles.

I have been advocating this type of tweeting for months.

The grassroots have been expressing support for this kind of tweeting. I have told  MAYDAY.US, Represent.Us, WolfPAC, StampStampede, TakeBackOurRepublic and other campaign finance reform organizations about the interest of the grassroots in the tweeting, but those organizations have declined to express their support.

Today, the grassroots expressed more support, and that has been passed on to the organizations.

Whether the organizations will express their support for this kind of tweeting remains to be seen.

If, notwithstanding silence of the organizations, you wish to do this kind of tweeting tonight, please do so. You do not need me around to do your own tweeting.

I did tweeting this morning and may do more tweeting later. Please note my tweets do not use the #SOTU hashtag, so you cannot see them in the #SOTU hashtag stream, and you can see my tweets under My tweets & replies or under the hashtag #DeclareForDemocracy.

Update 1/13
Your Tweeting and the State of the Union Address does not have to be "live" and "in the stream" during the address.

You can send individually directed tweets now to tweeters who have used the #SOTU hashtag.

Just go to the #SOTU hashtag and send some tweets.

Yesterday morning and last night I sent individually directed tweets that said

Will President Obama #DeclareForDemocracy?http://2016candidatesdeclarations.blogspot.com/2015/11/2016-congressional-candidate-declaration.html 

You can send that tweet, or maybe you want to send tweets that say

President Obama should #DeclareForDemocracy. http://2016candidatesdeclarations.blogspot.com/2015/11/2016-congressional-candidate-declaration.html 

Just decide on what tweet you want to send and start sending tweets to users of the #SOTU hashtag.
