Michiganders want to know

Who in our Congress sells access and favors?

In this election, Michiganders (and Americans everywhere) are being bombarded about the corruption of money in politics. Videos about this are set forth below.

The Michigan legislative delegation in Washington DC is in a position to have the best sense about the selling of access and favors that goes on in Congress; the delegation should level with Michiganders about this; and if Michigan's Representatives in Congress won't level, they ought to be voted out of office on November 8th.

Michiganders are taking steps to demand this before November 8th.

Here is what they are doing.

TWEETS TO LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION
Michiganders are sending tweets to Senators Stabenow and Peters and to their House Representatives in Congress. This is being done by Michiganders coming to this webpage and  clicking on the below links. The tweet being sent has a link to this blog entry (Michiganders want to know).  Also the tweet contains, and will show up under, the Twitter hashtag #mipolitics..

TWEETS TO OTHER MICHIGANDERS
Michiganders are sending tweets to other Michiganders to get them to come to this webpage and join in the tweeting. This is being done by using the follower lists on selected Michigan based Twitter accounts and sending individual tweets to the persons on the follower lists.

A tweet that is being used used for this is:
Join Michiganders tweeting about the selling of access and favors in Congress. http://2016candidatesdeclarations.blogspot.com/2016/09/michiganders-want-to-know.html
To send their tweets, Michiganders are using follower lists of Twitter accounts in Michigan to find Michigan voters to tweet to.. For example, if a Michigander joining in this tweeting is in the 2nd Congressional district, the followers of the Muskegon Chronicle might be used.

In doing the tweeting, the same tweet message is being sent repetitively. This can be done efficiently. The tweet message is put on the mouse clipboard. Then, on the follower list being used to send tweets, a first person on the list is selected, and this is done:
1. Right click on person's Twitter name.
2. Choose "open in new tab"
3. Go to the new tab.
4. Click on the "Tweet to" button.
5. Paste the tweet message in the box.
6. Hit the "Tweet" button.
7. Close the tab, which takes you back to the list
8. Go on to next person, and repeat above steps.
Thirty to forty tweets can be sent in a half hour. Tweeters decide for themselves how many tweets to send. There is not a need tot worry about any duplication that you think may arise.

The idea is for recipients of the tweets to click on the link in the tweet, come to this webpage, and send tweets to the Michigan legislative delegation in Washington (using the above links) and also join in and do their own tweeting to other Michiganders as described above. The goal is to produce a pyramiding of tweets that reaches tens of thousands of Michigan voters.

VIDEOS, ETC., RE SELLING OF ACCESS
This has come to the forefront because of The Clinton Foundation

Recently, on Fox & Friends, Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions strongly condemned contributions to The Clinton Foundation and the buying of access to American leaders. See below video

In the very first debate, Trump was astoundingly forthright about the buying of access and favors connected with campaign contributions. Here's the video of that.

Controversy has now sprung up whether Trump engaged in pay to play with Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Video clips at http://www.msnbc.com/morning-joe/watch/bill-clinton-deals-with-hillarys-messy-stuff-462884931555 contain Bill Clinton statements that he is unsure about whether donors to The Clinton Foundation were seeking favors. (What does the Michigan legislative delegation say about this? Do they say they don't know whether their own campaign contributors are seeking favors?)

In this election, the Michigan legislative delegation in Washington should talk to Michiganders about the selling of access and favors in Congress; whether that is corrupt,  and, if so, what should Congress do to fix the corruption. If the delegation does not do that, they should be voted out of office on November 8th.
